EFESME is organising the launch of the SBS Lift Forum on Digitalisation. The event will be held on December 18th from 9 am to 12pm in Brussels, at the SBS premises (Rue Jacques de Lalaing, 4).
Since the establishment of Small Business Standards, EFESME has always been at the forefront to spread and promote the SBS mission. Since last year, our Federation is involved in the SBS sectoral approach: thanks to this project, EFESME is implementing on behalf of SBS a set of activities aimed at fostering the participation of lift SMEs in the European standardisation processes. With the establishment of the SBS Lift Forum, SBS and EFESME intend to highlight the work undertaken by the experts in this direction.
This year, the theme of the event will be how digitalisation is impacting the lift sector and which opportunities are now available in this regard.
After the opening speeches introducing the event and the topics, the Forum will focus on two issues.
Firstly, we will discuss, on more a general level, which are the opportunities that Digitalisation offers to SMEs, and how this will influence the market. The European Commission will be present with Mr Vesa Katajisto, from DG Grow, and Mr Luis Carlos Busquets, from DG Connect, accompanied by SMEUnited Secretary General, Mrs Véronique Willems.
Later, we will discuss Digitalisation on a more practical level by examining the Spanish national register on lifts component as a best practise, and by proposing a new system to collect and make accessible data to public authorities. Our speakers will be Mr Lucian Faletto, EFESME Secretary General, and Mr José Maria Compagni, FEPYMA Coordinator.
For logistic reasons, we kindly ask you to register at the Forum by following the link below.
