The European Federation for Elevator Small and Medium-sized Enterprises marked the conclusion of its 20th anniversary celebrations with a closing event held on Wednesday 12th November in Brussels, gathering members, experts, partners, and European institutional representatives.
Over the past two decades, EFESME has become a recognised and respected voice for Europe’s lift SMEs, actively contributing to the development of standards, policies, and initiatives that ensure fair conditions and sustainable growth for small and medium-sized companies across the sector.
The Brussels event celebrated this important milestone while also looking ahead – reaffirming EFESME’s commitment to continue representing, informing, and supporting lift SMEs in the years to come. The Federation’s leadership and members took the opportunity to reflect on the results achieved so far and to highlight the many challenges and opportunities still ahead for the European lift industry.
The event closed a year-long series of initiatives held across Europe to mark EFESME’s 20th anniversary – in Paris, Madrid, Rome and Nuremberg – a symbol not of conclusion, but of renewed dedication to the Federation’s founding mission: to give lift SMEs the representation they deserve in a constantly evolving European landscape.
EFESME now looks to the future with renewed energy and commitment, ready to keep supporting Europe’s lift SMEs in building a stronger, fairer, and more innovative industry. As one chapter closes, another begins — and EFESME stands ready to keep lifting Europe’s SMEs higher, together.
